| Ok so I know a lot of points in this post have been argued a lot and I have read a huge amount of old posts. I did a full 120k service. In the service just a week before my 120k I decided to reroute the pcv system from the backside of the drivers exhaust valve cover to the top of the two intake cam covers. Pcv valves were checked at this time and have plenty of free movement. Hoses run from the top of the intake valve covers to z1 restricted pcv hoses and then to the pcv valves. Raced a rx7 fd and hit 120 and let off and my passengers side cam seal blows as soon as the throttle plates close meaning too much crankcase pressure. I just finished replacing the cam seal this morning with a new one (even though it had just blown out a new one) and took it down the road again. Got into boost and wouldn't you know the dipstick blows out and shoots oil everywhere! Haven't done a compression test yet, but could my pcv relocate be suspect here? Iv heard mixed reviews about this modification so just wondering if anyone has done this to their z without issues or has had the same issues?
